Toronto FC revealed today their newest uniform, the Energy Kit, as one of four teams selected by Major League Soccer and adidas to don a third jersey. New this MLS season, third jerseys are designed to lean into the culture of each club’s city and capture authentic stories that are important to the local community and are reflected through bold and progressive designs.
The Energy Kit is inspired by the vibrant display of colours, costumes and sounds of the Toronto Caribbean Carnival; one of Toronto’s marquee festivals. Carnival puts Toronto on the world stage and unites people of all backgrounds, just as the game of soccer does. The kit introduction follows last week’s partnership announcement between Toronto FC and Toronto Caribbean Carnival (TCC) committed to education and celebration of the Caribbean culture embedded in the city and club.

Samsung brings Smart schools to T&T

Samsung has committed to modernising T&T's education system through its Smart Classroom initiative, the technology giant's regional marketing manager, Jennifer Donley announced on Thursday evening.
"We are actually working on focusing and enhancing and ensuring that those Smart Schools are successful in and hopefully be able to expand later in the year and of course in ," she said as Samsung unveiled its latest mobile handsets and associated gear before the local media at the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre.
"T&T is one of our primary markets in the Caribbean. We launched in other markets, as well, but we always launch in T&T. People in T&T are always looking for the next best thing. We have become Samsung grown here and we have a lot of followers and we have done very well, so it's definitely a core market for us.
