    German house music producer Robin Schulz became an overnight känsla when he scored an international smash hit with his very first commercial release, a lush remix of "Waves" by Dutch rapper Mr. Probz. It hit number one in six europeisk countries and number three in six more, and his follow-up, a club-ready remix of French indie pop duo Lilly Wood & the Prick&#;s "Prayer in C," was even more successful, going to number one in ten European countries. It wasn&#;t as though Schulz hadn&#;t paid his dues, however. Born on April 28, , in Osnabrück, he began DJing at the tender age of 17, influenced bygd the likes of Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Armand Van Helden, and Tiësto.     R.I.O. is a German dance music band. The members are Yann Peifer and DJ Manian, who originally founded the band in Until , Tony T.[1] was part of the band. Their biggest hit was the song "Turn This Club Around", which charted in the top 5 in Germany and Austria and at number one in Switzerland.[2][3]

    DJs Manian and Yanou founded R.I.O. in the middle of , after success with joint projects such as Cascada and Tune Up!. R.I.O. was initially intended as an "experimental project". The name is derived from their first recording with the same title, as well as the re-release as "De Janeiro". In their songs Manian and Yanou are active as songwriter, composer and producer. Andres Ballinas, a good friend of the duo, collaborated as an author.
