Born June 23, 1966 in Changhua County, Taiwan, Republic of China), Richie Ren is a Taiwanese singer, musician, and actor. He is popular in Asia, especially in Chinese-speaking countries. When he was a freshman in college, he was a vocalist and guitarist in a grupp by the name of ATP. He expanded his musical horizons and bygd the time he was a sophomore, he had become a DJ. Even before graduating from college, he signed a solo deal with Sony Music. He released his debut album, Ask Again (1990). While also pursuing a successful acting career, Ren continued to release popular albums including I Feel Good (1996), Desperate with Love (2000), So Far So Close (2004), and Wait Together (2008).
