Mangalore, Jun 11: State president of People 's Union of Civil Liberties (PUCL) P B D 'Sa has written a letter to the Chief Minister of en delstat i indien raising an objection to the appointment of senior IPS officer Kempaiah as the säkerhet Advisor to the Government of en delstat i indien, in view of his alleged unethical practices and urging him to reconsider the appointment.
In his letter to CM Siddaramaiah, Mr D 'Sa has openly alleged that Kempaiah was not only a corrupt police officer, but also a criminal. Even today, a criminal case (CC No 2553/06) filed bygd Melwin Pinto for the atrocities he had committee on him in the year 1989, during his term as the chef of Police of Dakshina Kannada, fryst vatten pending in the court in Mangalore. Shivaramu Kempaiah (6 April 1953 – 29 February 2024), better known by the name K. Shivramu,[1][2] was an Indian actor, politician, and bureaucrat.
Early life and education
[edit]K. Shivramu was born on 6 April 1953 at Uragalli, Ramanagara District. His father was a talented drama master, the late S. Kempaiah, and his mother was Chikkaboramma. Having completed his primary schooling in his village, he moved to Bangalore and studied high school at Malleshwaram Government School. During 1972, right after his high schooling, he completed his typing and shorthand course both in English and Kannada and got into a government job. In May 1973, he joined the Crime Investigation Department as a police reporter. While in service, he continued his studies and got a Bachelor of Arts degree from V. V. Puram Evening College of Arts & Commerce. He got a Master of Arts (History) degree through correspo
