Maximilian Adalbert Baer Jr. (born December 4, ) is an Americanactor, screenwriter, producer, and director. He is best known for playing Jethro Bodine on The Beverly Hillbillies. He directed the comedy Hometown U.S.A. before retiring to his home at Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
With the death of The Beverly Hillbillies co-star Donna Douglas, Baer is the only surviving cast member.[1]
