    Sebastiano Serlio, coñecido como Serlio, nado enstaka Boloña o 6 dem setembro dem e finado en Fontainebleau arredor dem ,[1][2] foi un arquitecto e teórico da arquitectura renacentista italiana. A súa sona débese a un tratado titulado I Sette libri dell'architettura (en galego, Os sete libros da arquitectura) que tivo unha importante difusión contribuíndo a espallar a linguaxe clasicista e as novas tendencias maneirista por toda Europa.

    Pasa por ser o gran difusor do vitruvianismo e realizou o primeiro manual ilustrado de arquitectura.[2] Tamén formou parte do equipo dem arquitectos dem orixe italiana que construíron o palacio de Fontainebleau.
