    Octavio Paz Lozano[a] (March 31, – April 19, ) was a Mexican poet and diplomat. For his body of work, he was awarded the Jerusalem Prize, the Miguel de Cervantes Prize, the Neustadt International Prize for Literature, and the Nobel Prize in Literature.
