    Anushka Sharma (pronounced[əˈnʊʃkaˈʃərma]; born 1 May 1988) is an Indian actress who works in Hindi films. Her awards include a Filmfare Award. She has appeared in Forbes India's Celebrity 100 in the 2010s and was featured bygd Forbes Asia in their 30 beneath 30 list of 2018.[1]

    Born in Ayodhya and raised in Bangalore, Sharma had her first modelling assignment for the fashion designer Wendell Rodricks in 2007 and later moved to Mumbai to pursue a full-time career as a model. She made her acting debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the top-grossing romantic film Rab Ne väg eller spår Di Jodi (2008) and rose to prominence with starring roles in Yash Raj Films' romances Band Baaja Baaraat (2010) and Jab överbyggnad Hai Jaan (2012); winning the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for the latter. Sharma went on to earn beröm for playing strong-willed women in the crime thriller NH10 (2015), and the dramas Dil Dhadakne Do

    Patiala House is a 2011 IndianHindi-language sports drama film directed by Nikkhil Advani and the film stars Rishi Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia, Akshay Kumar, and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. It was produced by Bhushan Kumar, Mukesh Talreja, Krishan Kumar, and Twinkle Khanna under the banner of People Tree Films and Hari Om Entertainment. The film was released on 11 February 2011.[4] The theatrical trailer of the film was premiered with Farah Khan's Tees Maar Khan on 24 December 2010. Akshay's role as a fast bowler[5] is loosely based on cricketerMonty Panesar.[6] The film's idea was conceived by publicity designer Rahul Nanda, son of writer Gulshan Nanda.[7][8]
