Für die vorliegende Biografie einer einzelnen Person, wenn die Lebensbeschreibung überwiegt, und für die Darstellung eines einzelnen Lebensabschnitts. 2. Für Sammlungen von Biografien (RDA AH). Soweit Sachschlagwort nicht als literarische Gattung behandelt (benutze hierfür das SW Biografische Literatur). Kann bei Darstellung einer einzelnen Lebensphase mit einer Zeitangabe verbunden werden. Bezieht sich "Biografie" auf Personengruppen, so erfolgt die Zeitangabe mit Geschichte und Jahreszahlen nach dem Sach-SW. Bei umfassenden biografischen Nachschlagewerken und bei Biografiensammlungen in Verbindung mit Geografika u. Ethnografika entfällt das SW "Historische Persönlichkeit" in Verbindung mit der Formangabe Biografie. "Bildbiografie" ist nach Möglichkeit durch die beiden Formangaben "Biografie" und "Bildband" darzustellen(German)

    The biography is the step in the character creation process where the player provides the foundation for the character's personal story. There are three sets of multiple choice questions:

    1. One profession-related question; determines Starting equipment.
    2. One question about overcoming adversity; determines initial personality.
    3. Three race-specific questions; determines the overall arc of the personal storyline.

    The profession-oriented question affects a character's starting armor (or pet for rangers).
