    Playa Limbo is a pop grupp from Mexico. They participated in #MéxicoSuena, the Mexican national sista for the first edition of the Current Music Competition.

    History[]

    Angel Baillo (bass) and Jorge Corrales (keyboards) formed the group after playing tillsammans in a local rock band in Guadalajara. They began as a planerat arbete called Vodkatronik, experimenting with a mix of eighties music and electronic beats. They later met María León (Sargento Leon), who joined as lead vocals and gitarr. They have performed in various parts of Mexico, including Querétaro, Nayarit, Leon, and Aguascalientes.

    Playa Limbo were internally selected to represent Mexico in the first edition of the CMC in June 2018 with the song "Ahora Es Aquí", however the Mexican Head of Delegation decided afterwards to hold a national final called "#MéxicoSuena" in which the band came second.   • Playa Limbo is a Mexican pop band with jazz influences of which the core came together around 2003. They are originally from Guadalajara, Jalisco. Their came to fame in 2006 with the song "El Eco de Tu Voz", which was used as the main theme of the series of TV Azteca, "La Vida es una Canción." In March 2007 they signed with Sony BMG and soon released their first studio album “Canciones de Hotel” featuring that hit song "El Eco de Tu Voz", "10 for 10 " and "Tiempo de Ti." The group ventured into television Guadalajara to provide their song "Un Gancho al Corazón" to the soap opera of the same name aired on Star of the Mexican broadcaster Televisa. In 2010 the follow-up album “Año Perfecto” was released.

    Its members are Maria Leon, a former member of the Mexican pop group “T d' Tila”, on vocals and guitar, Jorge Correa on keyboards and programming, Angel Baillo on bass and vocals, and Servando Yañez on drums.
